For over thirty five years I have worked as a: counselor/therapist, special education teacher, outdoor guide/educator, and consultant. I have worked in a variety of settings: therapeutic outdoor settings, clinical mental health, public and private schools. I have lived and worked in various countries, cultures, and environments. During this time I have successfully adapted, differentiated, and implemented appropriate cross cultural therapy and programming to optimally match the needs of clientele. One of my core beliefs, is that all people, irrespective of culture, cognitive capacity, and socio economic status need: connection to nature, honesty, inspiration, encouragement, validation, civility and empathy.
